Family and friends are appealing for help to find Jake and Callum Robinson, who failed to check in at their Rosarito accommodation four days ago.
The two are known to have been camping in the Baja California area near Ensenada while surfing and camping.
Their mother, Debra Robinson, took to social media to ask for information or help.
She said the two men were traveling with another friend who is an American citizen.
“I am reaching out to anyone who has seen my two sons. They have not contacted us since Saturday, April 27,” she said.
“They were supposed to book an Airbnb in Rosarito after their camping weekend, but they didn’t show up.
“Callum is a type 1 diabetic so there are also medical issues. Please contact me if you have seen them or know where they are.’
A spokesman for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade confirmed it was providing consular assistance to the family of two Australians reported missing in Mexico.
