A 61-year-old man has been charged with murdering a 57-year-old woman in south-east London.
Officers were called to an address in Greenland Quay, Surrey Quays, at around 3pm on Friday after reports a woman had been stabbed, the Metropolitan Police said.
London Ambulance and London’s Air Ambulance also attended and the woman was taken to hospital where she died. She was identified as Margaret Cunningham.
Andrew Cunningham was charged with her murder. He has been remanded in custody and will appear at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on Monday
